Update Notes: Interaction, Intelligence, and Quality of Life!

Hello, Space Commanders!

We’re back with a major update focused on refining gameplay, improving the interface, and making your journey through the Exo Idle Mining universe smoother and more rewarding than ever. We’ve listened closely to your feedback and worked on improvements that affect everything from the most basic click to the advanced management of your empire.

More Tactile & Smarter Mining

Manual mining has just received a major upgrade!

• Instant Feedback at Your Click Location: No more fixed visual effects! Now, when you click on a planet or asteroid, the visual effects and resource icons pop up exactly where your cursor is, providing a much more tactile and direct feel to your actions.
• Continuous and Intelligent Auto-Click: The hold-to-mine function is now smarter. Mining continues as long as the mouse button is held down, but only occurs when your cursor is over the target. Drag the mouse off the target to pause, and drag it back to instantly resume extraction!

Optimized, Headache-Free Logistics

Your transporters now operate at peak efficiency.

• Smarter Transporters (Goodbye, Traffic Jams!): Drones will no longer get stuck on a planet waiting for a depleted resource. They are now smart enough to depart with whatever cargo they have if the planet’s warehouse is full or empty, keeping the flow of resources constant. A failsafe timer has also been added to ensure no drone gets lost.
• Smoother Animations: Your transporter drones now “emerge” from planets more naturally when starting a trip, rather than just appearing out of nowhere. A small detail that makes a big difference!

Quality of Life Management Improvements

Managing your empire just got easier and more transparent.

• Rapid Upgrade Purchasing: Tired of clicking hundreds of times? You can now hold the upgrade button in the Infrastructure and Logistics panels to buy multiple levels at once!
• Bonus Breakdowns: For greater clarity, your upgrade values now show a breakdown of the bonuses you receive from managers and research, so you know exactly where your power is coming from.
• Immediate Research Effects: Speed research upgrades now apply instantly to all items already in production. Watch the remaining time decrease right away and feel the satisfaction of progress!
• Visual Consistency: We’ve adjusted the number display throughout the game. Very large values are now abbreviated (e.g., 150K), and astronomical numbers are represented by the infinity symbol (∞), keeping the interface clean and readable.

Behind the scenes, we’ve also carried out a major internal reorganization of the game’s item structure. This paves the way for us to add new content, such as ores, recipes, and ships, much more quickly in the future.
